I have just noticed that have 2 new process in tree. Both of them dllhost.exe. Thats what I have founded out about this
"dllhost.exe is a process belonging to Microsoft Windows Operating System. The dllhost.exe file manages DLL based applications. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.".
But both of them do slow down cpu/memory and connection. I have awful lags in GW.( Didnt have before)
They are based in Windows/System 32 folder which makes me really nervous.
Kaspersky 2010 didnt indicate them as virus. As I start Task Manager they disappear, but in 10 sec I do see them again.
I also checked this site
It's most likely not dllhost.exe itself that's the problem, but something else that's using that service. As such, it's probably impossible for anyone to figure out the problem without further information. eg. It could be IIS (web server) or Google desktop if you use either or those. Could also be malware covertly using dllhost.exe and/or IIS.
Try googling: dllhost.exe high cpu
You'll find a lot of stuff... you probably need to run "hijack this", and post its output on a techy/security forum, so that the resident experts can tell you if anything looks suspect. (I am no such expert, by the way)
I think even dllhost.exe can even start running when there is error reporting going on also, it could be tied to any number of things. I get it once and a while and doesn't usually run for long nor take up much ram or cpu when it's running.
